Writing Woes

*Insert deep sigh*

I began writing my second novel at the start of the year and had plans on completing the first draft by the last day in March. Fast forward several months; It’s now the last day in…(Looks at calendar) June! I’m a little over 63,000 words in and still not as close as I would like to be to the finish line. How’s that for procrastination?

Okay, I could give you a million excuses as to why I’m lollygagging over here—and it’s taking everything in me not to jot those excuses down—but don’t worry, I’ll spare you because the reality of it is…wait for it…I’m a procrastinator.

Anybody else?

Feel free to raise your hand so I won’t feel alone in my procrastination. Anyhow, I’ve been asked a hundred times over—and believe me, I love that ya’ll ask me frequently—when the next book is due to be released. My hope is to get it out this year. There, I typed it. Now ya’ll can hold me to it. With that published, let me get to it.

Blessings,

Tamarria
