With Love...

Ahhhh! After three years (pushing four) you all are still reading Spirit Lake! As I sit here signing and preparing to ship out more books, I am filled to the brim with gratitude. I am so incredibly thankful for all of your support and words of encouragement. As writers, we put our hearts on the inked line and hope for the best. TBT - The Great Ms. Maya Angelou

TBT - The Great Ms. Maya Angelou

Throwback to Halloween when I recreated Ms. Angelou’s iconic photo. I had so much fun with this and to top it off, my 8 yr old was the photographer! Round of applause for my little man.

Writing Woes

Writing Woes

*Insert deep sigh*

I began writing my second novel at the start of the year and had plans on completing the first draft by the last day in March. Fast forward several months; It’s now the last day in…(Looks at calendar) June! I’m a little over 63,000 words in and still not as close as I would like to be to the finish line. How’s that for procrastination?
